Polygon Labs and zkMeta are excited to announce that zkMeta, developer of scalable Web3 gaming infrastructures with extensive access to Chinese gaming studios and game developers in Asia, is creating a dedicated gaming rollup on the Polygon network.

Onboarding dApps with a large number of daily active users will begin right away and zkMeta targets Q3 2023 for complete product integration. In the long term, zkMeta will also explore the use of Polygon zkEVM zero-knowledge technology and Polygon Supernets solution for building custom app-specific blockchains. zkMeta will also act as Polygon Labs’s strategic ecosystem partner for Chinese developers, helping educate and onboard new games and developers to the Polygon ecosystem.

Era7 will be the first title launched on zkMeta using Polygon ZK technology.  The card-trading game already has over 284,000 users, with over 1.2 million NFTs minted and more than $12.6 million of transaction volume. Over the next six months, at least four more titles will go live on the chain.

Some of the biggest blockchain gaming projects and publishers are already building on the Polygon network, including Square Enix, Neowiz, Tilting Point, and Animoca. With over 220 million unique user addresses, the Polygon ecosystem is home to tens of thousands of decentralized apps and major global enterprises like Robinhood, Stripe and Adobe.
