AQUA, a gamer-focused Web3 marketplace, is partnering with Polygon Labs to help gaming projects and players make the most of the opportunities in Web3.

AQUA’s recently announced Embedded Marketplace solution, which allows players to transact in secondary NFT sales entirely within a game’s client or hub, is one area of cooperation.

This new offering has already secured participation from games like Dark Throne, Million on Mars and Mojo Melee. Starting this month, games from the Polygon ecosystem can also receive further support on the AQUA.xyz marketplace with a goal of adding 15 titles by year end.

“We forge strategic alliances with those who share our focus on the player experience and commitment to developer success,” said Urvit Goel, head of global business development at Polygon Labs. “Creating solutions for developers entering the Web3 gaming ecosystem that truly solve their pain points is the first step toward a more vibrant offering for players, and partnering with a games-focused platform like AQUA was a no-brainer for us.”

Some of the biggest blockchain gaming projects and publishers are already building on the Polygon network, including Ubisoft, Atari, Animoca, Decentraland, Somnium Space, and The Sandbox. With over 220 million unique user addresses, the Polygon ecosystem is home to tens of thousands of decentralized apps and major global enterprises like Robinhood, Stripe and Adobe.
