Arianee to Launch a Polygon CDK-Powered Chain for Tokenization of Digital Product Passports at Scale

Consumer-focused brands will leverage Arianee’s dedicated Layer 2 blockchain to maximize engagement and loyalty

Polygon CDK

Arianee is launching a dedicated chain built with Polygon Chain Development Kit (CDK) to leverage the full potential of digital product passports (DPPs) and engagement tokens at scale.

The dedicated Layer-2 (L2) application-specific chain powered by zero-knowledge (ZK) technology will enable brands such as Audemars Piguet, Breitling, Panerai, Mugler, and Moncler, to launch their own DPPs and loyalty tokens.

By building with Polygon CDK, Arianee creates the conditions for companies to combine cost-effectiveness, scalability, performance, and customization.

The Arianee Association is a member-run organization that brings together over 40 major brands such as the Richemont Group, L’Oreal, Breitling, Paris Fashion Week, Moncler, and Lacoste. Since 2018, more than 1.7 million DPPs and engagement tokens have been minted on the Arianee protocol, with industries ranging from luxury watches and fashion to consumer brands and entertainment.

“We have been early believers in the Polygon ecosystem, and worked on mainnet with many of our clients,” Arianee’s CEO and Co-Founder Pierre-Nicolas Hurstel said. “Today, our decision to build a powerful L2 appchain powered by Polygon CDK allows us to take another momentous stride toward building blockchain-based solutions where performance, scalability, and connectivity are the norm.”

Arianee joins a growing number of projects already using and testing Polygon CDK, including Libre, Hypr, OKX, Gnosis Pay, Immutable, Palm Network, and IDEX. Polygon CDK makes it easy for developers to design and launch ZK L2s on Ethereum or migrate existing L1s or L2s with ZK tech.

Through the in-development AggLayer, a protocol to aggregate ZK proofs from all connected chains and ensure the safety for near-instant transactions, chains deployed with Polygon CDK will have the option, in the future, to connect and access a unified execution environment and liquidity across all connected chains.

”We believe that Polygon CDK holds the potential to revolutionize industries far beyond the realms of crypto and finance,” said Marc Boiron, CEO of Polygon Labs. “We are happy to see Arianee, a platform that has been working with some of the finest global brands on real-life use cases, start building with Polygon CDK.”
