14th July — We are excited to announce that UNXD, an exclusive marketplace for digital luxury and culture, is launching Dolce&Gabbana’s debut NFT drop, Collezione Genesi. This launch is bound to set paradigms in the fashion and luxury industry.

The collection is inspired by the rich culture and heritage of Venice, one of the world’s most iconic cities. The collections jog one’s memory over the artistic history of Venice, also known as the city of the Doges. The launch is set to feature in three major Dolce&Gabbana events, Alta Moda, Alta Sartoria, and Alta Goilleria, to be held in Venice in late August.

As a brand, Dolce&Gabbana’s artistry is driven through the creativity of their designers, Domenico Dolce and Stefano Gabbana. Inspired by a vivid dream they had, the first concept revealed in the collection is aptly named “Dress from a Dream” (L’abito dei sogni in the designers’ native Italian).

This launch is of strategic importance to not just UNXD, but also the entire NFT ecosystem. The success story of this has the potential to change the face of the fashion and luxury industry. With Collezione Genesi, Dolce&Gabbana and UNXD see an opportunity to cross — and even transcend — the digital and physical world with a collection of one-of-a-kind NFTs, leveraging the unique capabilities of the Polygon network.

Polygon’s full-stack scaling is bound to add value in terms of higher throughput, swift transactions, and lower gas prices. This will also expedite the mainstream adoption of the NFTs. The digital luxury marketplace is set to attract many more drops from leading brands around the globe to set the new luxury digital culture.

Collezione Genesi will be available exclusively on UNXD beginning on September 1st, 2021. Reserve your spot now at unxd.com.
