Polygon has teamed up with Techstars London for a Web3-specific accelerator program that will offer personalized programmes, hands-on mentorship, and unrivaled investor networking opportunities to a cohort of founders building on Polygon and in Web3.
The applications will open on Aug. 29, 2022, and only the 12 best Web3 projects will make it into the highly-selective accelerator program scheduled for early 2023.
Over the course of 13 weeks, the hand-picked founders will meet in person to learn how to successfully manage and grow their startup in the bleeding-edge world of Web3. The elite builders will also have access to top-notch innovators shaping the future of the decentralized web.
Techstars is a quality-first accelerator program that focuses on helping early-stage startups evolve into mature, self-sustaining companies. The program is customized for each class and special emphasis is put on one-on-one mentorship curated to the specific needs of each participant. As a result, builders get their hands on cutting-edge tools and resources to help them survive and thrive successfully.
This rigorous accelerator is also coupled with an outstanding opportunity for investor networking. At the end of the program, founders will present their Web3 businesses to Techstars' broad network of investors, media, government, and ecosystem experts.
Techstars has an impressive record in helping startups take off and scale growth. Graduates from the program have earned $1 million on average in first-round funding. The global startup powerhouse is home to 19 unicorns, a network of over 7100 seasoned mentors, and boasts an all-time graduate market cap of $71 billion.
Saalim Chowdhury, the Managing Director at Techstars London, will oversee the accelerator program that Polygon powers. He is a startup veteran with extensive investing experience in early-stage Web3 ventures.
