What's New in Polygon Supernets v0.9 Release
We are thrilled to announce the release of Polygon Supernets' latest test version, v0.9, which marks a significant milestone for the development team and the larger Polygon community. This planned release line is crucial to the upcoming v1.0 production release as the product suite matures and approaches its production-ready state.
It's essential to keep in mind that these test releases will include breaking changes and offer no guarantees, including backward compatibility. You should use the current test releases for testing and familiarization only. A comprehensive source code audit is underway.
Note that the v0.9 release is not yet backward compatible with previous versions of Polygon Supernets, and migration support will be introduced in future releases.

The separation of staking, rewards, and gas token payments further allows for payment with different tokens, simplifying asset management and reducing costs. Moreover, Polygon Supernets now supports EIP-1559, an Ethereum improvement proposal that improves transaction fee management and establishes a more efficient and predictable fee market.
Additionally, it is worth noting that the rewards wallet can be assigned separately from the validators, providing even more flexibility to users.
NFT Interoperability: Unlocking Possibilities with ERC-721 & ERC-1155
The native bridge supports the ERC-721 and ERC-1155 asset standards. This enables developers to seamlessly integrate these standards into their sovereign chains, unlocking a wide array of opportunities for NFT interoperability.
Bridging the Gaps: No More Non-Bridge Deployments
In this release of Polygon Supernets, the distinction between "bridge mode" and "non-bridge mode" deployments has been eliminated. The bridge is now an integral part of the product suite and is configured by default.
Deployment Clean-Up: Streamlined Genesis Workflow & No More Manifest.json
This update removes application-specific configuration via Manifest.json, streamlining deployment and reducing errors. The Genesis workflow has also been improved, making it easier for developers to create custom chains that meet their specific needs.
