Okto to Integrate Okto Wallet with AggLayer for Seamless Aggregated Chain Experience
Okto is collaborating with Polygon Labs to build front-end infrastructure for the AggLayer that will enable better user and developer experience
Okto, a leader in chain abstraction technology, announced plans to integrate the Okto Wallet with chains connected to the AggLayer. The announcement was made at the first-ever Aggregation Summit, bringing together leaders across the industry to address core problems of a fragmented ecosystem.
By integrating with the AggLayer, the Okto Wallet is set to redefine ease of use and connectivity, providing an important gateway to the AggLayer, a cross-chain settlement solution that unifies liquidity and users, with finality posted to Ethereum. Okto Wallet is already live, and compatible with Ethereum Virtual Machine (EVM) chains as well as a plethora of L1s, including Solana, Aptos, Cosmos, and more. Additionally, with the Okto SDK—also live, with more than 6M users—developers will be able to build chain-abstracted applications across an aggregated network.
The Okto Wallet and chain abstraction infrastructure with Okto SDK opens up brand new design spaces for builders to create the best UX in the industry. As the AggLayer grows, so will the need for infrastructure that developers can build consumer-facing crypto applications.
The goal is simple: Ease of use, like a single chain. When diverse chains of different execution environments connect to the AggLayer, the Okto Wallet will be able to streamline user experience to provide a unified platform for users to interact with any AggLayer-connected chain—regardless of underlying architecture.
Integration with the AggLayer simply provides seamless support for all compatible chains.
The wallet and SDK are twin anchors for a complete chain abstraction stack, which will also feature an Okto appchain, be built with Polygon CDK and integrated with the AggLayer. This chain will be a developer-friendly environment to launch best-in-class consumer applications and tap into the enormous network effects, growing liquidity, and expansive user base of the AggLayer.
More infrastructure, better experience for developers, better UX in the long run.
