Sensorium, a metaverse and Web3 developer, is partnering with Polygon Studios to build high-fidelity virtual reality worlds centered around immersive musical experiences.

The Sensorium Galaxy Metaverse features music concerts, meditation sessions, NFT original content creation and social networking with AI-based virtual beings. Founded in 2018, Sensorium is leveraging its long-standing collaboration with the world’s chart-topping performers including David Guetta, Armin van Buuren and Steve Aoki, to shape the future of metaverse-ready events.

Partnering with Polygon Studios will give Sensorium access to a low-fee, high-speed, green blockchain and a suite of scaling solutions to power the project’s token,  NFT-related features within the Sensorium Galaxy Metaverse, a Play-to-Earn game and the recently announced virtual land platform UNDER.

The first Sensorium product to rely on Polygon's infrastructure will be SENSO dApp — a P2E tycoon game where players are tasked with scouting NFT artists, organizing metaverse music events, and selling tickets in return for SENSO token rewards.

"Polygon is a go-to hub for some of the most important Web3 projects, and having the platform as our partner is an important step in raising the ambitions we have for Sensorium's blockchain ecosystem," said Alexander Firsov, Sensorium's Chief Web3 Officer.

Polygon is home to tens of thousands of Web3 projects, including big-wigs like Aave, Uniswap, and OpenSea. With lightning-fast transactions, low fees, and the launch of best-in-class scaling solutions like zkEVM, Polygon's carbon-neutral ecosystem has found favor among global brands like Robinhood, Meta, Adobe, and Stripe to make their entry into Web3.

“Sensorium will be able to tap into a vast, sustainable, and highly composable ecosystem and offer its users low-cost and efficient transactions backed by Ethereum's robust security model,” said Said Urvit Goel, VP of Global Games and Platform Business Development at Polygon. “We're eager to see the Sensorium ecosystem grow and flourish under this alliance.”
