Businesses and individuals holding USDT or PayPal USD (PYUSD) on Polygon can now fund a bank transfer directly from their own wallet. With Stable.com, Unlimit’s financial platform, adding support for Polygon Open Money Stack, the stablecoin stays with the holder until it reaches a bank account in their name.
The deposit step is gone
Most stablecoin-to-bank flows ask people to deposit their funds with a platform, wait for the deposit to clear, and then withdraw the money to a bank. That process takes time and, for part of the journey, puts the funds in someone else’s hands.
Stable.com’s Polygon integration removes that middle step. USDT or PYUSD can move from the holder’s wallet to a bank account in their name without being held by a platform along the way.
“People should not have to surrender control of their assets simply because they want to send money to a bank account,” said Marc Boiron, CEO of Polygon Labs. “Stable.com gives USDT and PYUSD holders a direct route from their Polygon wallets to the payment systems people already use. This is the connection between onchain money and everyday financial services that Polygon Open Money Stack was built to support.”
Wallet in, bank out
Stable.com brings together a global account with local payment details, multi-currency balances, cards, treasury tools, and access to tokenized assets. With Polygon connected to its bank rails, holders can send a bank transfer without first moving their funds into a custodial platform account.
Behind the product experience, Polygon Open Money Stack connects blockchain settlement, fiat on- and off-ramps, embedded wallets, and cross-chain orchestration. This gives Stable.com the payments infrastructure it needs to connect self-custodied stablecoins to a bank transfer without building every layer itself. Unlimit carries the transfer through its payment network, which reaches more than 180 countries and supports 150 currencies.
“The future of finance will not be divided between traditional and digital systems,” said Kirill Eves, Founder and CEO of Unlimit. “People and businesses will expect money to move freely across currencies, accounts and blockchain networks without having to navigate the infrastructure behind them. Adding Polygon advances our vision for Stable.com: one place to manage money, regardless of the currency, asset or network underneath it.”
What this makes possible
For a service like this to be useful, the underlying network needs to handle real volume. Polygon has processed $2.9 trillion in stablecoin transfer volume, with average transaction costs of around $0.002 and capacity of more than 5,000 transactions per second. Stable.com is building its bank-transfer flow on infrastructure designed to move money reliably at the scale banks and payment networks need.
That is part of the appeal of Polygon Open Money Stack for fintechs. It is open infrastructure, so a platform can add stablecoin rails without having to rebuild its own wallet, compliance, or settlement infrastructure from scratch.
For USDT and PYUSD holders on Polygon, it means the money that is already theirs can remain under their control until it reaches their bank account.
