Bollywood NFTs Are Coming to Polygon With Shemaroo’s Web3 Debut

Shemaroo, India’s leading media and entertainment company, is teaming up with Polygon Labs to launch its NFT marketplace Virtasy.io exclusively on the Polygon network. 

At launch, the marketplace will list NFTs from iconic Bollywood films, such as images, movie clips and 3D, metaverse-ready avatars. Owners will be able to take their favorite Bollywood characters into the metaverse, be a part of memorable cinematic journeys, and build collections of their own precious moments. Virtasy’s community-centric platform also lets users earn and receive rewards along with added community engagements.

The network’s low fees, fast transaction speeds and carbon neutrality are also among the reasons why companies like Adidas, Robinhood and Stripe have chosen it as their gateway to Web3.
