Hero Indian Super League (ISL), India's top division professional football league, has collaborated with Terra Virtua, a collectible platform powered by Polygon, to become the first Indian sports league to launch exclusive non-fungible tokens (NFTs) as digital collectibles.

Terra Virtua uses Polygon PoS to offer the world’s first fully immersive and social digital collectibles platform with leading creators. The platform's marketplace features themed digital collectibles across a range of popular movies, television shows, and comic books.

The partnership with Hero ISL allows Terra Virtua to venture into the dynamic sports ecosystem.

Terra Virtua will mint unique digital collectibles on Polygon PoS. The collectibles will feature the Indian Super League and all its 11 clubs. All the league’s memorable moments, player cards, in-match highlights, and much more will be available for fans to purchase and trade as interactive memorabilia through Terra Virtua’s unique marketplace. The ISL digital collectibles will be launched in the upcoming 2021-22 season.
