It's a wrap for India’s BIGGEST web3 hackathon

BUIDL IT is now undoubtedly the biggest showcase of upcoming Web3 talent within the Indian subcontinent. We are immensely proud and grateful to all those who have contributed to making this event a grand success. Bringing Web3 to India with such grandeur is a feat that could not have been possible without your amazing participation. We are ecstatic to see the amount of josh each and every one of the participants portrayed during the hackathon.

With a whopping 5,031 registrations, BUIDL IT secured its place as the LARGEST Indian Web3 Hackathon till date! This is a testament to the fact that the builders & developers of India are not only embracing the change to a decentralized future but are actively building it!

The hackathon kicked off in great style with some of the most influential entrepreneurs in the nation such as Sandeep Nailwal (Co-Founder, Polygon), Vijay Shekhar (Founder, PayTM) & Kunal Kapoor (Actor; Founder, Ketto). The conversation that happened between the members of this panel was definitely not something to be missed!

With the kick-off, began the journey of thousands of builders taking their first steps in venturing into this fast-paced decentralized ecosystem.

As BUIDL IT wraps up we are thrilled to receive a total of 186 projects! These brilliant projects were built by developers and buidlers who poured their heart and soul into their ideas to bring them into reality. We appreciate the hard work all the participants have put in to develop their projects.

Surely, BUIDL IT was not only about hacking and building projects by veterans in this space, but also for newcomers willing to learn. In order to help newcomers to Web3, we had also organized an incredible line-up of workshops where participants could learn about the various concepts of Web3 and interact with experts from all over the world hands-on!

PolygonLEAP 2021 Accelerator is an attempt to help support budding Web3 entrepreneurs of India with the mentorship from major global investors such as Lightspeed, Elevation Capital, Woodstock Fund, Sino Global Capital, Jump Capital and Buidlers Tribe.

Projects that want to take hold of this opportunity to be a part of the accelerator may apply. The registration process of this accelerator starts from December 8, 2021 and is open till the next year. The last date to register is February 4, 2022.
