Please tell us more about your project and your team.
Drakons is a DApp strategy game where you get to collect and play elemental dragon non-fungible tokens or NFTs called DRAKONS. The players called Drakon Masters will get to enjoy battles in Drakon Arenas for a chance to play-to-earn loots, boosts and valuable gems that can be exchanged to Drakons’ utility token called Drakoins or $DRK. Drakons was launched in the Ethereum Mainnet on December 2019 and due to high Eth transaction fees, we have decided to use Polygon Network so our players can enjoy faster and cheaper transaction fees. Our team has end-to-end development expertise. We have Smart Contract engineers, Frontend and Backend Developers, as well as artists who designs Drakons NFTs and its UI/UX.
Where are you in the hype cycle for gaming and NFT’s?
We are about to launch a more rewarding play-to-earn arena and a lot more new features using Drakon NFTs.

What are some best ways for newbies to get up to speed in space?
Make it relatable or easy to understand like start in NFTs and gaming. Do relevant collaborations with as many companies or individuals in the space as it will open more opportunities or learnings to improve your craft or platform.
What is one thing that most people don’t know about your project?
That Drakons lets you enjoy artistically designed NFTs while using it to play and earn. We are also the first one in space to collaborate with an independent artist to enable his NFT creations (sold in 3rd party NFT Markets) to be used in Drakons as a game asset. This is proof that more collaborations can be done in the future. We are also the first one in space that gives game users the power to form and design their own Drakon NFTs using Drakons Lab.
Why did you choose to build on Polygon?
We want our users to enjoy faster and cheaper transaction fees.
