Polygon Is Coming to Lisbon for Builders Jam & More

Polygon is touching down at the crypto capital of Europe for a fun week of hackathons, workshops and enriching experiences as part of Lisbon Blockchain Week 2022.

We have prepared two amazing events — Polygon Builders House and Polygon Builders Jam — and other workshops to help the future builders of Web3 meet with the blockchain sages, learn from them, and build their dream projects. Here's everything in store from Polygon at Lisbon.

Oct. 24-28: Polygon Builders House

The Builders House, powered by Polygon and organized by W3b Lab and Rhouse, will kickstart the Lisbon journey with a five-day in-house mentorship by an experienced squad of developers.

The cohort of devs will gather at the Builders House to work collaboratively, participate in hackathons, and learn from each other's experiences. In addition, they will receive all the support needed to build their dream Web3 projects. Teams will cap off the week by presenting their projects at the Builders Jam.

Oct. 28: Polygon Builders Jam

The Builders Jam, organized in partnership with Infura and Lens Protocol, is the first-ever in-person Polygon Lisbon Guild event. Learn how to build with Polygon zkEVM, Truffle and Lens, get Polygon alpha from live demos, meet the devrel teams from Polygon, Infura, Lens, and Lido, and network with founders, builders and investors.

Oct. 28-30: ETH Lisbon

Polygon is a proud sponsor at the ETH Lisbon Hackathon, where the world's top Web3 developers show off their skills in a three-day non-stop building extravaganza. As part of the hackathon, Polygon is hosting a workshop to help developers build on Polygon's carbon-negative network.

Nov. 1-4: Web Summit

Web3 is making a strong showing at this year’s Web Summit, the premier tech conference with more than 70,000 attendees from 160 countries. Polygon will have a booth providing information on our product portfolio. (Come visit us at Pavilion 1, Booth # E172!) Polygon co-founder Sandeep Nailwal is sharing the main stage with other key dignitaries like Toto Wolff of Mercedes-AMG Petronas, Noam Chomsky, and António Costa, the Prime Minister of Portugal.

Nov. 8: Staking Summit

Lisbon Blockchain Week 2022 will come to a grand finale with the world's first Staking Summit. The event brings together staking’s best in class to start a conversation between different Proof-of-Stake ecosystems. Polygon’s governance facilitator Mateusz Rzeszowski will be among the speakers, with validator engagement lead Jackson Lewis in attendance to answer questions.
