Polygon to Make a Splash at ETHDenver

Polygon is coming to ETHDenver!

The annual gathering of Etherum’s movers and shakers will be held on Feb. 11 - 21 in Denver and will feature Polygon Studios as a Metaverse and Gaming Track sponsor. Polygon will sponsor the Bodega area at the Castle. More than twenty team members will come from all parts of the world to attend ETHDenver. When Ethereum’s leading scaling solution meets its biggest Web3 hackathon — expect awesome.

Over the past year, Polygon has attracted some of the biggest projects in Web3, from DeFi protocols such as lending platform Aave and Uniswap to luxury brands company Dolce & Gabbana and NFT marketplaces including OpenSea and Mark Cuban’s Lazy.com. More than 7,000 decentralized apps (dApps) are currently building on Polygon, making it the main destination for Web3 platforms and developers.

On Feb. 15, join Polygon, Coinbase, Decentraland, Aave Grants DAO, and Sushi for an evening networking event at the unique Church venue. When it comes to sharing ideas and making connections, there is no substitute for in-person conversations.

Polygon Studios was launched in July 2020 with the mission to speed mass adoption of Web 3 gaming and NFTs. Since then, DraftKings announced plans to build an NFT marketplace on Polygon while virtual worlds such as Decentraland and the Sandbox are laying the groundwork for both the metaverse and gaming on the network.

On Feb. 16, kick your day off with Polygon Studios at a breakfast event “Builders Brekkie” followed by an acoustic set. The venue offers a dedicated space to work, chat and discuss what’s next for gaming and metaverse.

Polygon PoS adoption has soared exponentially, with a billion transactions recorded last year. The network’s more than 130 million unique addresses and over 2.67 million monthly active users now generate some 3 million transactions per day, more than double the volume of Ethereum.

On Feb. 17, Polygon co-founder Sandeep Nailwal will deliver a keynote at the opening ceremony for the main event. Tune in to find out what’s ahead for Polygon and the greater Ethereum ecosystem in 2022.

Polygon is also home to an unrivaled collection of zero-knowledge efforts. The portfolio includes a zkEVM being developed by Polygon Hermez, privacy-focused Polygon Nightfall rollup built in collaboration with EY, Polygon Miden’s general purpose STARK-based rollup and Polygon Zero team applying a technique called recursion to ZK proofs.

On Feb. 18, get up to speed on this most anticipated blockchain scaling technology at the invite only breakfast reception and developer workshop on zero-knowledge proofs, “GM ZKverse”.

Building on Polygon means having a whole range of solutions at your fingertips from Polygon SDK, which provides a framework enabling developers to build Ethereum-compatible blockchain networks, to Polygon Hermez, a decentralized Zero-Knowledge rollup. And there are more powerful tools in development, including a privacy-centric rollup with EY, Polygon Nightfall, and a general-purpose data availability layer, Polygon Avail.

Polygon also offers support for every stage of project development, from discounts on security audits and special developer packages on infrastructure and tooling, to marketing assistance and access to Polygon’s investor network, liquidity providers, and market-maker partners. These are just some of the reasons why the number of teams building on Polygon has doubled every two months from mid-last year, according to Alchemy, a developer platform that tracks the teams building on a number of blockchains.
